How does the AI story generation work?
Our AI uses advanced language models to create unique stories based on your child's name, age, and the theme or lesson you choose. The stories are educational, age-appropriate, and designed to make bedtime a magical learning moment.
Is it safe for children?
Yes! We prioritize child safety. All content is moderated, and we never collect personal information beyond what's necessary. Stories are designed to be positive, educational, and age-appropriate.
What age range is this for?
Alba Time is designed for children aged 2 to 10 years old. Stories are automatically adapted to your child's age for appropriate vocabulary and complexity.
Can I use it offline?
Currently, you need an internet connection to generate new stories. However, Premium users can download audio narrations for offline listening.
What languages do you support?
We currently support French, English, and German. Stories can be generated in any of these languages, with full audio narration support.
Stories
How long does it take to generate a story?
Story generation typically takes 15-30 seconds. Premium users get priority generation, which is usually faster during peak times.
Can I edit a story after it's created?
Stories are generated as complete narratives and cannot be edited. However, you can regenerate a story with different parameters if you'd like a variation.
How do I save my favorite stories?
Click the heart icon on any story to save it to your favorites. You can access all your saved stories from your Dashboard.
Can I share stories with others?
Yes! Each story has a share button that lets you share it via social media, email, or a direct link.
What happens to my stories if I cancel Premium?
All your saved stories remain accessible even if you downgrade to the Free plan. You just won't be able to generate new stories or access Premium features like exclusive universes until you upgrade again.
What are story universes?
Story universes are exclusive immersive narrative worlds available to Premium subscribers. They provide rich, themed storytelling experiences with unique characters and settings, making each story even more captivating.
How personalized are the stories?
Each story is 100% unique and personalized with your child's name, age, and the lesson or theme you choose. No two stories are ever the same.
Audio Narration
What's the difference between Free and Premium audio?
All users get high-quality audio narration with Lily HD, our premium voice powered by ElevenLabs. Free users receive 3 audio credits (lifetime, no renewal), while Premium users get 10 per month. Need more? You can purchase audio packs.
How do I download audio?
Premium users can click the download icon on any story with audio narration. The audio file will be saved to your device for offline listening.
Can I listen offline?
Yes! Premium users can download audio files and listen anytime, even without an internet connection.
What voice is available?
All stories are narrated by Lily HD, a warm, expressive and multilingual voice powered by ElevenLabs. This premium voice is available to all users and delivers natural, engaging narration perfect for bedtime stories.
What are audio credits and how do they work?
Audio credits are used for generating AI narration. Free users receive 3 audio credits (lifetime, no renewal). Premium members get 10 per month. Each narration uses 1 credit. You can also purchase audio packs: 10 credits for €9.99 or 25 credits for €14.99. Purchased credits are valid for life.
Can I buy more audio narrations?
Yes! You can purchase audio packs at any time. We offer two options: 10 audio credits for €9.99 (€1.00/audio) or 25 audio credits for €14.99 (€0.60/audio, best value). Purchased credits are added immediately and are valid for life.
What is Continuous Listening?
Continuous Listening is a Premium feature that lets you chain stories in automatic playlist mode. Perfect for longer bedtime sessions — stories play one after another without interruption.
What is the Audio Boost?
The Audio Boost is an add-on for Premium subscribers that adds +5 audios/month on top of your 10 included, for a total of 15 audios/month. It costs €2.99/month and can be cancelled anytime.

What's included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes 5 personalized stories (lifetime, no renewal), 3 audio narrations (lifetime), 3 free AI illustrations, Lily HD voice, access to all life lessons, and unlimited story saves.
What's included in Premium?
Premium (€9.99/month) includes unlimited stories, 10 audio narrations/month, custom AI illustrations for all stories, exclusive story universes, continuous listening (playlist mode), audio downloads, priority generation, and priority support.
How does billing work?
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly at €9.99/month. Billing occurs on the same date each month. Audio packs (10 for €9.99 or 25 for €14.99) are one-time purchases valid for life.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your Profile settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.
Do unused credits roll over?
Free plan credits are lifetime (5 stories, 3 audios) and don't renew. Premium audio credits (10/month) renew each month. Purchased audio packs are valid for life.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Click the 'Upgrade to Premium' button in the header or on your Dashboard. You'll be redirected to our secure Stripe checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for Premium subscriptions. Contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Technical & Account
I forgot my password, what do I do?
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page. You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder.
How do I change my email?
Go to your Profile page and click 'Edit Profile'. You can update your email there. You'll need to verify your new email address.
Can I have multiple children on one account?
Yes! You can create dedicated child profiles from 'My Children' in your account menu. Each profile stores your child's name, age, and preferences for even more personalized stories.
Why isn't my story generating?
Make sure you have credits available and a stable internet connection. If the problem persists, try refreshing the page or contact support.
The audio isn't working, what do I do?
Check your device's volume and ensure your browser allows audio playback. Try refreshing the page. If the issue continues, the audio file may need regeneration—contact support.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile page, scroll to the bottom, and click 'Delete Account'. Warning: This action is permanent and will delete all your stories and data.
